For some reason - I thought the band would be a bit thicker - it is veryyyy thin / slim and I am having a hard time loving it

If you are looking for a slightly thicker band, this one is a good choice. I have previously purchased the ultra fine ring from S&S and although it is pretty, it was a bit too thin for my fingers. This one is so much better for me!
